Bermuda Win RAN’s Seven’s Day Two Opener

Bermuda started the second day of the Fireminds Rugby Americas North Sevens 2021 match in Turks and Caicos picking up where they left off on the opening day, defeating the British Virgin Islands by a score of 41 – 0.

In only the second minute Bermuda took the lead when Rory O’Kelly-Lynch raced through the British Virgin Islands defense to score.

Just two minutes later Jamie Baum went over for a try, and when Cole connected for the conversion, and Bermuda took a 12 – 0 lead.

Soon after it would be 17 – 0, when Cole went over for a try, he added the conversion to extend Bermuda’s lead to 19 – 0.

One minute into the second half O’Kelly-Lynch scored his second try of the game to make it 24 – 0, the conversion was missed.

The Bermuda scoring continued as Mikey Dill went over to make it 29 – 0, Baum would once again go over to extend the Bermuda lead to 34 – 0, Cole’s conversion attempt went wide.

Cameron De Ste Croix then scored a try and he added the conversion to make the final score 41 – 0.
