Sailing: Burchall Brothers Bowl & Matthews Cup
Two races took place off the West End Sailboat Club as the comet season continued.
Stephen Dickinson and his crew Wesley Tucker crossed the line first in the Burchall Brothers Bowl race that saw the sailors race from the club around Five-Star Island and back.
Dickinson and Tucker clocked a time of 1:42.03, with Kelsey Durham and his crew Trey Maxwell crossing the line in second with a time of 1:43.10, while Gladwin Lambert and his crew Stefan Maybury were third in 1:44.05.
The second race was for the Matthews Cup that saw the sailors round Pearl Island and back, with Quinton Simons and his crew Greg Proctor winning in a time of 2:39:15. Zaniko Hendrickson and his crew Zane Hendrickson finished second crossing the line in a time of 2:42.28, with Lorenzo Lambert and his crew Maxwell Curtis finishing third in a time of 2:51.11.
Dickinson was the overall winner with 5 points, Simons is second with 6 points, and Hendrickson was third with 9 points.
