Daniel Augustus Begins Competing In Georgia
Daniel Augustus began playing in the APGA Tour Farmers Insurance at White Oak Golf Club in Georgia where he shot an opening-round 6-over par 78.
Augustus started out with back-to-back pars, which was followed by a birdie before he recorded a quintuple bogey on the fourth hole. He recovered to hit back-to-back pars, but that was followed by a double bogey, and Augustus then had a birdie on the eighth before a bogey on the ninth.
On the back nine, Augustus started with a bogey, but three straight pars would once again settle him down, and had a birdie on the 14th, before finishing with four consecutive pars.
