CG Insurance Launch ‘Renew. Save. Donate’
CG Insurance has launched the ‘Renew. Save. Donate.’ campaign, which provides clients who renew their policies online with a discount that they can either keep or donate to a local charity.
A spokesperson said, “A policy renewal enhancement at CG Insurance is enabling clients to support the work of local charities. The company’s newly launched ‘Renew. Save. Donate.’ campaign provides clients who renew their policies online with a discount value they can either keep or donate to a local charity.”
“This is an update we’ve made to encourage fundraising for local charities,’ Naz Farrow, CG’s Chief Executive Officer, said. “The community’s needs, arguably, have never been greater and these charities can help.”
The company explained, “CG clients who renew their home or motor insurance policy through the online portal at hellocgi.com will receive an automatic discount on their premium at the online ‘checkout’. At that point the client is presented with the option to keep or donate their discount. If they choose to donate, a dropdown box appears with four local charities displayed:
- The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre
- The Reading Clinic
- Keep Bermuda Beautiful
- The Family Centre
“The selection of these charities emerged from CG’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme’s main pillars: Education, Health, Environment, and Community Welfare and Economic Development. Identifying these areas of support has allowed CG to focus its resources to promote healthy community life while making more of a direct impact. The selected charities will be available as options for the discount donation until January 31, 2022.
“Our commitment to the communities we serve is understood and felt at all levels of the company,” Ms Farrow said. “We believe we are all better off when we support one another, when we extend helping hands, when we get things done that bring people together. So we continue to look for ways to make things better wherever we operate.”
