Mother & Daughter Empowerment Tea On Sunday

The 3rd Annual Mother & Daughter Empowerment Tea will be held this Sunday at CedarBridge Academy from 1.00pm to 5.30pm.

A spokesperson said, “This Empowerment Tea was established by Antonia Holder, founder of an enterprise called Mothers & Daughters Empowered [MADE]. The Tea is her signature experience for mothers and daughters, ages 10 to 14, designed to provide an afternoon of uninterrupted bonding time, connecting and having fun.

“MADE aims to raise awareness on the importance of strengthening the mother-daughter bond. Mrs. Holder creates meaningful experiences through fun, educational and loving environments that offer insights into the crucial stages of development, major social influencers [good and not so good] and important self-care habits. Her organization’s mission is to help elevate mother-daughter relationships by providing access to a variety of empowering opportunities and resources that will nurture, enrich and strengthen their bond.

“The breakout sessions for this year’s experience will be:

• 1. Mindfulness Studio – Facilitated by Kim Rego for moms and daughters

• 2. Beauty Whispers – Facilitated by MAC/Gibbons for moms and daughters

• 3. Leadership Incubator – Facilitated by Malika Taylor for the girls only

• 4. Purple Table Talk – Facilitated by Dr. Sandy De Silva for the Moms only

• 5. Powergirl will be the Emcee
