Netball: BNA Youth & Senior Leagues Results

The latest round of action for the Bermuda Netball Association took place, with a number of matches in various divisions.

Under 14 Division

North Village Lady Rams 35 Storm Thunder 1

The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Storm Thunder 35 – 1. The North Village Lady Rams were led to victory by Ra’eesah Robinson who scored 23 goals, and Razeeyah Robinson added 12 goals, while Ameerah Outerbridge scored the goal for the Storm. Nevaeh Swan was named the North Village Lady Rams, with Malaysia Furbert named the Storm MVP.

Phoenix Embers 36 Rangers 6

Phoenix Embers defeated the Rangers 36 – 6. The Phoenix Embers got 18 goals from Makaylie Smith, Hailey Trott added 8 goals, Kammie Mills scored 7 times, and Sydney Santos scored 3, while Rangers got 3 goals each from Xhe’naye Simons, and Saajida Daniels, the Phoenix MVP was Nishika Bisht, with Ja’miyah Johnston named the Rangers MVP.

Under 17 Division

Storm 36 Phoenix Fire 24

MVP Amayah Burt scored 30 goals to lead the Storm to a 36 – 24 win over the Phoenix Fire, Imara Richardson added 4 goals, and Imani Burgess twice, Makaylie Smith, and MVP K’xiyae Gibbons scored 12 goals each for the Phoenix Fire.

Senior Division

Lindos Tigers 59 Docksiders 22

The Lindos Tigers defeated the Docksiders 59 – 22, Jahtuere Trott led the team in scoring with 21 goals, Jahkenya Trott added 18 goals, while Apryl Jackson scored 11 goals, and Nissiah Berkeley scored 9 goals, T’Yanna Hayward scored 12 goals for Docksiders, Charlie Evans added 10 goals, Peta-Gaye Scott was named the Tigers MVP, while Briar Dansfield was named the Docksiders MVP.

Phoenix 54 Storm 26

In the final match of the day, Phoenix defeated the Storm 54 – 26, Danielle Raynor led Phoenix to victory with 37 goals, Ebonie Burgess added 14 goals, and Keizhari Knight scored 3 goals, the Storm got 11 goals from Nabiilah Nasir, Sonja Townsend added 10 goals, and Zakiyah Durham scored 5 times, Kiante Lightbourne was named the Phoenix team MVP, while Debre Evans and Jade Johnson whose defensive play kept them in the game were named MVPs for the Storm.
