November 22, 2021

Resolution Re has donated $10,000 to the Lady Cubitt Compassionate Association [LCCA] to provide additional funding to their General Assistance Program. The funds will be used to provide food vouchers during the Christmas period.

Nicole Stuart, Executive Director at LCCA said “As everyone tries to navigate our way to a new normal, many families are feeling the economic effects that have been brought on by Covid-19 and all that has resulted from it.

“The LCCA has had to adapt so we can assist our growing number of clients. Only through the generosity of others are we able to continue in our mission to assist the less fortunate. We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Resolution Re and all donors who continue to support the LCCA. We look forward to a brighter 2022!”

Steve Hales, CEO of Resolution Re said “Covid 19 continues to affect people’s livelihoods, which impacts mental health as well as physical health. CCA do a fantastic job in helping those who are most vulnerable in these difficult times and we are proud to support them again”

A spokesperson noted, “The LCCA was formed in 1932 by Lady Cubitt, the wife of the then Governor, and is one of Bermuda’s oldest charitable organizations.

“Its mission is to improve the quality of life, health and wellbeing of those in our community who are in medical, financial or emotional need, with particular care and compassion for children and the elderly.
