BF&M, Employees Donate To ‘Toys For Tots’
BF&M hosted a successful Toys for Tots drive, with the company making a cash donation of $50 for every toy brought in by employees, and the target of 200 toys to raise $10,000 was met.
A spokesperson said, “For many years now, BF&M has participated in the annual Toys for Tots Holiday Drive for The Coalition for the Protection of Children, sponsored by HSBC. This programme is designed to support and assist families in need within our community, so that they can give their children the joy of holiday gifts.
“This year, BF&M decided to make their company drive extra special. To support and encourage their staff’s generosity, BF&M decided to make a cash donation of $50 for every toy brought in by employees, with a target of 200 toys to raise $10,000.
“Employees rallied and the target was met. On top of providing toys for children, these funds went towards purchasing grocery and utility vouchers, toiletries, school uniforms and other essentials.”
Group Chairman and CEO John Wight explained: “We know it’s been a rough year for so many in our community, so this year we wanted to make the drive bigger and better than ever. Our staff gave to the cause with that BF&M passion that makes me so proud to be CEO of this company.”
