One Promotes Michelle Ashton & Michael Roberts
One Communications announced that Michelle Ashton has been promoted to General Counsel, while Michael Roberts was promoted to Chief Technology Officer for Wireline products.
A spokesperson said, “One Communications is pleased to announce that the following individuals have been appointed to senior leadership positions.
“Michelle Ashton has been promoted to the position of General Counsel with overall responsibility for legal and regulatory matters. Michael Roberts has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer [CTO] for Wireline products.”
“Michelle is a graduate of Boston College and attained her law degree from the University of Bristol. She began her career in the areas of corporate administration and securities disclosure and progressed to the position of associate lawyer at the law firms of Ashurst LLP, London and then ASW Law, Bermuda. Michelle joined One Communications in 2015 as Associate General Counsel where her responsibilities have covered commercial contracts, compliance, and investor relations.
“Michael joined One Communications [formerly Logic Communications] in 1998 as a Junior Network Analyst. He was subsequently promoted to Systems Engineer, Network Operations Center [NOC] Manager and Vice President, NOC. Michael has overseen several critical projects within the company including core network and infrastructure upgrades enabling core data and voice products for our consumer and business customers alike.”
