Results: Eight Bermudian Footballers Overseas

Teams that include Bermudian footballers Jonte Smith, Dale Eve, Kole Hall, Roger Lee, Reggie Lambe, Willie Clemons, D’Andre Wainwright, and Quinaceo Hunt were recently in action.

Jonte Smith

Jonte Smith’s Ballymena United was only able to field a squad of 15 as of their registered squad against Portadown. Smith was not in the team as right were out for Covid-related reasons, four were injured, and two were suspended.

Ballymena United, however, were able to defeat Portadown 4 – 0.

Dale Eve

Dale Eve and his Spennymoor Town FC teammates took on Darlington for the second time in a matter of six days. 2022 began for both teams with a hard fought point. Glen Taylor’s goal cancelled out by Luke Charman’s long range effort.

Kole Hall

Kole Hall and his Radcliffe teammates welcomed United of Manchester to Stainton Park for their New Year’s Day battle.

Hall and his teammates fought back from two down to go 3-2 ahead, however FC United clawed back an equalizer as the teams shared the points.

Roger Lee

Roger Lee and his Mickleover FC teammates went down 1 – 0 to local rivals Basford United. A second half goal in a fairly even game resulted in all three points going back across the border.

Reggie Lambe & Willie Clemons

Reggie Lambe, Willie Clemons and their Stowmarket Town teammates faced off against Coggeshall Town at Greens Meadow.

Lambe, Clemons and Stowmarket started the year off with a bang, defeating Coggeshall Town 5 – 0, with Lambe scoring twice in the match. Lambe opened the scoring, which would prove to be the winner; he also added the first goal of the second half to make it 3 – 0.

D’Andre Wainwright & Quinaceo Hunt

D’Andre Wainwright and his Redcar Athletic FC teammates fell 4 – 0 to Quinaceo Hunt and his Thornaby FC teammates. Thornnaby got two goals apiece from Adam Burnicle and Elliott Beddow.
