Cyclists Compete In Dominican Republic Stage 3

Bermuda cyclists Conor White, Liam Flannery, Zander Miller, Nicholas Narraway and Dominque Mayho continued racing the XLIII Vuelta Ciclística Independencia Nacional in the Dominican Republic.

On the third day, the cyclist departed Santo Domingo, heading to San Pedro de Macorís, and then back to Santo Domingo, finishing in the vicinity of Faro to Colón, with a distance of 156 kilometers.

The day saw the top 58 riders all record the same time of 4:11:27.

Miller was the top Bermuda rider on the day crossing the line in 46th, Narraway crossed the line 53rd, the next group of riders from 59th – 84th all finished 31 seconds behind the lead pack clocking 4:11:58, White led the group in 59th, Flannery finished 67th, and Mayho finished 105th clocking a time of 4:13:52, he was 2 minutes and 25 seconds behind the leading pack.

Narraway now leads the Bermuda team overall, he currently sits in 31st place with a time of 12:44:01, he is 2 minutes and 6 seconds behind the overall leader Cole Davis who has a time of 12:41:55.

White is 34th overall with a time of 12:44.32, Miller is 72nd with a time of 12:54:36, Mahyo is currently in 76th clocking a time of 12:56:07, and Flannery is in 87th clocking 13:06:56.

Narraway is currently 6th in the Under 23 Division, he is 1 minute and 56 seconds behind the current Division leader, Miller is 17th, and Flannery is 23rd.

Team Bermuda remains in 11th place with a three-day total time of 38:22:15.
