STEP Bermuda Talk Set For Tomorrow
STEP Bermuda will be hosting a STEP Talk entitled “Current Observations/Issues Regarding Sharia Compliant Trusts and More” tomorrow [Feb 25] at 9.30am.
A spokesperson said, “STEP Bermuda will be hosting a STEP Talk entitled “Current Observations/Issues Regarding Sharia Compliant Trusts and More” tomorrow [25 February] at 9:30am.”
STEP Bermuda Chairman Ash Fife said, “STEP Bermuda is looking forward to virtually hosting the virtual presentation which is being presented by Alastair Glover and Jordan Ellis of Trowers & Hamlin LLP this Friday [9.30am AST and 1.30pm GMT].”
The spokesperson said, “Alastair and Jordan’s Talk will cover succession planning in the Middle East with a focus on the UAE. They will explore holding assets in the region and the options available to clients for structuring those assets including the international structuring element and how they see that fitting it.
“Within this they will discuss the Shariah inheritance principles and how they are applied to Muslims and non-Muslims.
