Football: Robin Hood, Hornets & Wolves Win

Three football matches yesterday saw twelve goals scored as the Robin Hood, Dandy Town Hornets and Wolves picked up wins.

Premier Division

North Village Rams 2 – Robin Hood 3

Robin Hood went to the Bernard Park and came away with a 3 – 2 win over the North Village Rams.

North Village took the lead in the 19th minute, but Chae Brangman equalized for Robin Hood in the 32nd minute, but ten minutes later Owen Botelho put the North Village Rams ahead 2 – 1 after a defensive error.

Robin Hood drew level in the 57th minute through an own goal, and then Aaron Nelson scored in the 68th minute to earn Robin Hood all three points.

Dandy Town Hornets 4 – Southampton Rangers 0

The Dandy Town Hornets extended their lead at the top of the Premier Division standings yet again following their 4 – 0 win over the Southampton Rangers at the BAA Field.

Eusebio Blankendal gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the 28th minute, Nizigh Spence doubled the Dandy Town Hornets lead in the 63rd minute before Cecoy Robinson made it 3 – 0 in the 70th minute. and Tomiko Goater then extended the lead to 4 – 0.

First Division

St. David’s 1 – Wolves 2

Wolves went to Lord’s in St. David’s and came away with all three points in a 2 – 1 win.

Wolves took the lead in the 23rd minute through a Sergio Richardson goal, Antinori Butterfield doubled the Wolves lead in the 38th minute and they would take that 2 – 0 lead to the break.

St, David’s pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute when Cody Richardson scored, but they could not find the equalizer.
