Wells’ Bristol City Team Lights Up For Ukraine
Bermudian footballer Nahki Wells‘ club, Bristol City FC, recently lit its stadium with the colours of the Ukrainian flag in a show of solidarity with that country following Russia’s invasion.
Support for Ukraine has poured in from all over the world, including from the island’s Ukrainian community, which recently gathered in solidarity and launched a fundraiser. Bristol City FC tweeted the photos below, saying, “Football stands together”
