Bermuda Cyclists Begin Competing Overseas

Bermuda cyclists Kaden Hopkins, Caitlin Conyers, Liam Flannery, and Conor White began competing overseas.

Kaden Hopkins began competing in the Van Rysel-Arden Challenge 2022 in Belgium.

Martin Tjotta [Ringerikskraft] won, the first stage, around Erezée over a distance of 139.5 kilometers. The Norwegian was clocked at 3:18:15 ahead of Thibaut Ponsaerts [Minerva Continental Team] and Thomas Naudts [EFC-L&R-AGS] who also had the same time.

Hopkins crossed the line with a group of riders between 14th and 83rd, all with a time of 3:18.37. Hopkins was declared the 77th rider to cross the line.

Caitlin Conyers, Liam Flannery, and Conor White began competing in the Redlands Bicycle Classic in California.

Stage 1 for the Men was a 20 laps, 58.1 miles City of Highland Circuit Race, Flannery finished 65th with a time of 2:07.42, Flannery is 40 seconds behind the winner, while White clocked 2:08.22 crossing the line 93rd, 1 minute and 20 seconds behind the leader.

During the Women Stage 1 which was the 14 laps, 41.3 miles City of Highland Circuit Race, Conyers had an impressive start, crossing the line 5th stopping the clock at 1:42.59, she is only 10 seconds off the leader.
