Hopkins, Conyers, Flannery & White Compete

Bermuda cyclists Kaden Hopkins, Caitlin Conyers, Liam Flannery and Conor White continued competing overseas.

Kaden Hopkins was back in action competing in the Van Rysel-Arden Challenge 2022 in Belgium.

Hopkins was part of a 10 rider breakaway for 120 kilometers of the 135-kilometer race that contained the eventual stage winner Gilles Borra with the chasing pack closing in.

In the last 15 kilometers, the breakaway split, and Hopkins was eventually reeled in crossing the line 131st, with a time of 3:15:22.

Caitlin Conyers, Liam Flannery, and Conor White continued competing in the Redlands Bicycle Classic in California.

Stage 3 was on a brisk, blustery day on a 9.1 mile out and back Time Trial course.

Stage 3 for the Men saw White clocked at 18:20.3 crossing the line 11th, 40 seconds behind the stage winner Tyler Stites, while Flannery finished 83rd with a time of 20:24.5.

White is 70th overall with a combined time of 6:27:13, he is 10:05 behind the overall leader Alexander White, while Flannery is 89th with a time of 6:30:33.

During the Women Stage 3, Conyers crossed the line 7th stopping the clock at 21:41.3, she was 37 seconds off the leader.

Conyers sits in 5th place overall with a combined time of 5:12.05, she is 2:45 behind overall leader Emily Marcolini.
