Women’s Football League Kicks Off On Friday
The Bermuda Football Association’s Women’s League kicks off this Friday [May 6] at the BFA field, with PHC taking on YMSC in the season opener at 6:30pm followed by Footy Queens vs Dandy Stars at 8:00pm.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] Women’s Committee is proud to release the schedule for the 2022 Women’s League. Six teams have entered the 2022 Women’s League including, Dandy Stars, Footy Queens, PHC, SCC, St. George’s CC, and YMSC.”
“The Women’s Committee is excited to start back up the Women’s Football League,” said Charryse Bean, Chair of the Women’s Committee.
“We strategically planned for this to happen at this very time and are grateful for all who trusted the process in this development. As the 6 teams take the field this weekend, we want to first take a moment to remember the players of the past and then look forward to the bright future of Women’s Football in Bermuda.”
