Netball: Tigers, Lady Rams & Stars Win
Women’s League action took place at Bernard’s Park in Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League play.
The Tigers defeated the BHB Angels 32 – 18, Diara Benjamin led the Tigers with 21 points, while Jahtuere Trott added 11 goals, with Asante Chapman named the team’s MVP.
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the St. George’s Lady Colts 42 -30, Darrika Simons scored 30 goals to lead the North Village Lady Rams to victory, with Jordyn Morris adding 12 goals, Jada Richards was named the MVP, the St. George’s Lady Colts got 18 goals from Selena Bascome, with Nicole Smith adding 12 goals, with Coriah Simmons named the MVP.
The Stars defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 23 – 19, MVP Selah Tuzo, and Vernicka Symonds both scored 9 goals for the PHC Lady Zebras, while Tyra Lyn Simmons added the other goal.
