Photos: Cecilia’s Care Residency Home Opens
Cecilia’s Care Residency in Southampton has opened, offering the ability to accommodate eight residents over the age of 60.
It is owned and operated by Ms. Valerie Arorash, a registered nurse who has aimed to open her own care facility for many years, and the facility — which is named after Ms Arorash’s mother — is open twenty-four hours, seven days a week.
A spokesperson explained, “We have eight staff members, six of which have been trained in the Bermuda College Nursing Assistant Program. There are various daily social activities planned as well as a well-structured detailed meal plans for our residents. It is wheelchair accessible and will cater to individuals’ physical, psychosocial, mental health, and spiritual well-being in a respectful manner.”
