Two Emancipation Commemoration exhibits were on display at the Bermuda Society of Arts [BSoA], including “Pioneers Who Persevered: Black Nurses in a Segregated Bermuda.”
A Government spokesperson previously said, “The Emancipation Commemoration continues with two exhibits at the Bermuda Society of Arts.
“Our special exhibit, ‘Pioneers Who Persevered: Black Nurses in a Segregated Bermuda,’ tells untold stories of segregated nursing in Bermuda.”
