RA ‘Considering All Legal & Regulatory Options’
“BELCO has not made any attempt to correct the public record,” the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda [RA] said, adding that “as a result, the RA is now considering all legal and regulatory options relating to BELCO’s statements.”
This follow after the RA released a public statement earlier this month saying that “in response to public outcries regarding ongoing soot emissions in the local community, the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda cautions BELCO about purposely misleading the public,” which BELCO responded to by saying, in part, “we never had any intention to mislead the public and do not believe we did.”
In providing an update, a spokesperson said, “Further to the RA’s statement last week cautioning BELCO about purposefully misleading the public about the North Power Station, to date, BELCO has not made any attempt to correct the public record.
“As a result, the RA is now considering all legal and regulatory options relating to BELCO’s statements, including, but not limited to, enforcement action, civil proceedings and publishing relevant materials to support its position.
“As the RA considers its options, and reserves its rights in this matter, no further statement[s] shall be made until a final position is taken.”

The RA might want to consider what happened to the BTA when it did not do what the PLP Government wanted it to do.
Buy a second hand nuclear submarine and that should easily power the whole island…then put parking where Belco was…
LOL, Nuclear power in Bermuda would be the death of the Atlantic!
And also placing the racist OBA back in charge. When will you tell Jarrion that he’s being used to attract blk votes and the moment he joins the PLP you will call him a racist?
