Three Equestrians Qualify For ASPCA Finals

Equestrians Cody Rego, Skyla White and Julia Slade have successfully qualified for the 2022 ASPCA MACLAY Finals.

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Equestrian Federation is delighted to share that Bermuda’s Cody Rego, Skyla White and Julia Slade have successfully qualified and are formally invited to compete in the upcoming 2022 ASPCA Maclay Finals.

“The ASPCA Maclay Championship is one of the most prestigious competitions for Junior riders [18 yrs & under] in the USA. Indeed, hundreds of junior riders compete in numerous Regional competitions, with the goal of qualifying and competing in the annual ASPCA Maclay Finals.

“The 2022 Finals will be held during the National Horse Show at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington from 26th October – 6th November, and is considered to be one of the most competitive classes in the show.

“This will be Cody Rego’s second occasion to compete in the ASPCA Finals. Cody successfully competes in the 2021 ASPCA Maclay FINALS where he achieved a very commendable 7th place!

“The Bermuda Equestrian Federation extends congratulations on this outstanding achievement!”
