In the opener, Alexandra Mosher got a shoot-out goal to edge Positive Image Dental 4 – 3.
James Amaral gave Positive Image Dental the lead in the second period after neither team scored a goal in the first period.
The third period saw five goals scored to see the game end 3 – 3 in regulation time. Amaral would add a second for Positive Image Dental, with Chris Allington adding the other, while Bill Calko, Shane Matchett, and Ron Jervis all added a goal each for Alexander Mosher.
Calko scored the shoot-out winner for Alexander Mosher.
Liberty Mutual 5 Appleby 6
In the nightcap, Appleby edged Liberty Mutual 6 – 5.
The two teams scored five goals each in the first period and then went scoreless for the remainder of the match, needing a shoot-out to decide a winner.
