Bermuda Win Two Gold Medals In Cycling
Annabelle Miller and Charlotte Millington won gold medals during the first day of the Junior Caribbean Road Cycling Championships in the Dominican Republic.
Millington won the girl’s gold medal in the pre-junior time trial, while Miller claimed the girl’s gold medal in the junior female time-trial title.
Millington clocked a time of 16:11 to claim the title, with Melaika Russell from Jamaica claiming the silver medal with a time of 16:35.
Miller won gold in a time of 15:51, Channelle Russell from Jamaica finished second with a time of 16:55, while Rosselle Ogando from the Dominican Republic was third clocking 18:55.
Competing in the boy’s pre-junior time trial, Cameron Morris clocked a time of 30:31 finishing 4th, while Thomas Quartely finished 5th with a time of 36:27.
