Daniel Phillips Advances In Guatemala
Daniel Phillips was back in action in Guatemala, competing in the J4 Guatemala Open.
In the open singles quarter-finals, Phillips took on his doubles partner Humza Noor from the United States; Phillips advanced to the semi-finals with a straight sets victory 6-1, 6-4 victory.
Phillips and Noor then had to play two doubles matches; in their first match, the pair defeated Guillermo Narclo and Mauricio Gasca from Mexico in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.
He and Noor then faced Guatemala pair Jigme Balseiro and Marcos Castellanos in the semi-final; Phillips and Noor advanced to the final with a straight sets victory 6-2, 6-4.
