Yushae DeSilva-Andrade Concludes In Worlds
Yushae DeSilva-Andrade concluded competing in the Boccia World Championships in Brazil, taking on Dora Basic from Croatia in the quarter-finals, with Basic claiming the 3 – 2 win.
Coach Troy Farnsworth said, “She has played in multiple world championships previously, however this was the first time she has progressed to the knockout stage and has proven that she can more than compete at the very top level. Next year we have several competitions including the Para Pan Ams, so I know Yushae is eager to fine tune her game and take her game to the next level.”
