BWS: Wet & Windy Conditions For Saturday

“Wet and windy conditions are expected for Saturday [Jan 14] with the heaviest rain, showers and embedded thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon,” the Bermuda Weather Service [BWS] said.

In an online post this afternoon, the BWS said, “Hold onto your hats, and anything else that is easily blown around! Wet and windy conditions are expected for Saturday [14th Jan] with the heaviest rain, showers and embedded thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon. We have a gale warning valid for Saturday morning to Saturday evening. Storm force gusts, in the range of 50-60 knots, are expected, especially in and around the heavier showers and any thunderstorms. Keep a close eye on the forecast and the latest observations at www.weather.bm and stay safe out there!”
