January 2, 2023

Teams that include Bermudian footballers Nahki Wells, Dale Eve,  Keziah Martin, Kole Hall, Willie Clemons, and Milan Butterfield were  in action on New Year’s day overseas.

Nahki Wells

Nahki Wells’ teammate Antoine Semenyo’s 28th-minute goal helped Bristol City secure a point in a 1 – 1 draw at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Dale Eve & Keziah Martin

Dale Eve was not in the Hereford team which traveled to face Keziah Martin’s Kidderminster Football Club teammates at Aggborough Stadium.

Martin for the second game in a row was an unused substitute, as the two teams played to a 1 – 1 draw.

Kole Hall

Kole Hall and his Chester FC teammates left it late to rescue a point against nine-man AFC Telford on New Year’s Day.

The visitors went ahead midway through the first half as Harry Flowers’ shot from the edge of the penalty area deflected beyond Harry Tyrer, before Montel Gibson was shown a straight red card as a stray arm caught Alex Brown in the face.

Adam Senior was then shown two yellow cards in the space of ten seconds at a Telford throw-in for exchanging words with the referee. That set it up for substitute Joe Lynch’s injury-time equalizer, with neither side able to find a winner.

Willie Clemons

Willie Clemons and his Braintree Town teammates drew 2 – 2 with Chelmsford City.

Clemons and his teammates twice came from behind to level the match.

Milan Butterfield

Milan Butterfield and his Alfreton Town teammates traveled to the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium to face Buxton Football Club.

The two teams played to a scoreless draw.
