Bermuda Youth Teams Begin Volleyball Festival
Six Bermuda Volleyball Association’s Junior National teams began competing in the Nike Volleyball Festival in Boston.
The boy’s under 16 team finished the day with a record of 2 & 1, they defeated NEVBC Boys Club 2 – 0, defeated the Sportime team 2 – 0, before falling to the Smash Boys 2 – 0.
The under 14 boy’s finished winless on the day as they lost 2 – 0 to NEVBC Boys Club, CSVC, ACAD Boys Red, and Mill City.
Bermuda’s under 16 girls lost 2 – 0 to Mass Impact, Blast Tigers, and Mill City as they ended the day 0 & 3.
The under 14 girls finished the day 3 & 0, they defeated LIVBC Girls Gold, United Blue, and CSYRV 2 – 0.
Bermuda’s under 13 girls team finished the day 1 & 2, they opened up with a 2 – 0 win over SS, before falling 2 – 0 to CALI Blue, and then 2 – 1 to Mill City White.
The under 12 girls team lost 2 – 0 to SMASH, before defeating MERAKI 2 – 1, they then fell 2 – 0 to Northeast Orange to finish 1 & 2.
