Bermuda Win Medal After Jamaica Disqualified

Bermuda girls’ under-17 4×100 metres relay team have been awarded the bronze medal after Jamaica were disqualified because of a technicality.
The island’s foursome of J’Naz Richards, Pria Wilson, Lashee Jones and Arima Turner, finished fourth in the race in 48.12sec; however, the Jamaica team’s baton was deemed to have taken place outside the takeover zone.
