Photos & Video: Closest To The Pin Charity Golf
Government House grounds were the scene of the Brian Morris Closest to the Pin Charity Event.
Governor Rena Lalgie officially got the event started before others tested their skills looking to see if they could get a Hole In One, or be the Closest to the Pin. The event was held in memory of the late Ocean View Golf Club head professional Brian Morris.
Government House posted the photos below and said, “Her Excellency the Governor opened the ‘Closest to the Pin’ charity event with a welcome to guests before taking the first swing. Members of the Ocean View Golf Community, along with more than one hundred family & friends came to celebrate the memory of the late Brian Morris.
“The North lawn at Government House was transformed into a golf course. Each participant received four chances to get their ball ‘Closest to the Pin.’ Congratulations to all the winners, and special thanks to Laurie Morris, Cheryl-Lynne Thompson and OJ Pitcher for making sure Brian’s vision become reality. The proceeds from this event will go to P.A.L.S.”
