Tickets On Sale For USATF Bermuda Grand Prix
The USATF Bermuda Grand Prix will return to the island for a second successive year, taking centre stage at the Flora Duffy Stadium on May 21st, and tickets are now available for sale.
Serving as the fifth stop on the World Athletics Continental Tour – Gold, the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix will allow athletes to earn valuable World Athletics Ranking points across 16 events, including the men’s and women’s 100, 200, 400, 4×100, men’s 1,500 and 110 metres hurdles.
The international event, offering top local athletes an opportunity to compete against Olympic, world and national champions, is a collaboration between the Bermuda Tourism Authority, USA Track and Field, Puma American Track League and sponsors Athene Life Re Limited.
It will be broadcast on NBC in the United States, the Caribbean and several countries worldwide from 2 pm to 4 pm EDT.
Last year’s event featured leading Bermudian athletes Dage Minors, Jah-Nhai Perinchief, and Lamont Marshall along with top overseas competitors Yohan Blake of Jamaica, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico, and Grenada’s Kirani James.
