Bermuda Sailors Conclude Competing In France

Bermudian sailors Sebastian Kempe, Campbell Patton, and Adriana Penruddocke concluded competition at the 57th Semaine Olympique Française in France, testing themselves against elite international fleets in the Mediterranean.

The trio represented the island across the ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 classes during the week-long regatta, which featured many of the world’s top-ranked competitors.

ILCA 7 Fleet

Sebastian Kempe finished as the highest-placing Bermudian in the [ILCA 7] division, earning 26th place overall in a field of world-class sailors, while Campbell Patton finished the regatta in 41st position overall with 237 net points.

ILCA 6 Fleet

In the [ILCA 6] division, Adriana Penruddocke finished 48th overall and secured third place in the silver fleet. Penruddocke concluded the week with 51 net points, joining silver fleet winner Hanna Koba and runner-up Ebru Bolat on the podium for that group.
