Bermudian Actor To Appear In Silo TV Series
Bermudian actor Rowan Vickers is guest starring in Silo, a sci-fi series that launched on Apple TV+ last week.
Vickers will appear in Episode 7, The Flamekeepers, as a nurse, opposite Rebecca Ferguson, a Golden Globe nominee, who plays a character called Juliette.
Silo, a ten-episode post-apocalyptic drama based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling novel series, tells the story of a group of people forced to live in a giant underground city after the outside world’s collapse.
It also stars Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo and Tim Robbins.

Mr Vickers posted on Instagram last week: “Thank you @officialrebeccaferguson – it was a real thrill to get to work with you.”
A graduate of the world-renowned Juilliard School in New York, Mr Vickers founded Venture Theatre, a project based in Bermuda, which brings international theatre artists together to stage classic and contemporary plays for a local audience.
The company’s inaugural production of Tennessee Williams’s, The Glass Menagerie, featured in the 45th Annual Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts.
This summer, Mr Vickers will again offer a drama intensive, Shakespeare In Action, at Warwick Academy, which features three one-week sessions in July for students aged 11 to 15.
The Macbeth Project is a three-week intensive running through August for students in Years 10 to 13. Previous acting experience is not necessary.
Mr Vickers will also direct a new version of Henrik Ibsen’s classic drama, Ghosts, with Venture in January 2024.
