St. George’s Cricket Club, Baileys Bay, and Western Stars all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier Division cricket action.

St. George’s Cricket Club 240 St. David’s Cricket Club 189: St. George’s Cricket Club Won by 51 Runs

At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Cricket Club moved to 2 & 0 on the season following their 51-run victory over the St. David’s Cricket Club.

Batting first the St. George’s Cricket Club scored 240 all out, with Charles Trott leading the way with 76, which came off 92 balls he hit 4 fours and 6 sixes, Isaiah O’Brien was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 9-2-29-3.

At the Southampton Oval, Western Stars picked up their first win of the season with a 12-run victory against the winless Warwick Workmen’s Club.

Western Stars scored 157 all out after batting first, Brian Hall was the top scorer with 52, which came off 62 balls, he hit 5 sixes, Luke Fulton was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s bowlers with figures of 9-0-24-3, while Kwasi James bowled 9.4-0-32-3.
