Lewis Finishes 4th In 100m In Switzerland
Jessica Lewis concluded competing in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2023 in Nottwil, Switzerland.
On the third day, Lewis competed in the T53 Women’s 100m where she finished fourth with a time of 16:52.
Catherine Debrunner clocked a world record winning time of 15:25, Fang Gao was second in 16:11, and Hamide Dogangun was third clocking a time of 16:47.
Lewis said, “Overall I’m happy with how I raced in the Grand Prix. I felt like I was more in a rhythm compared to the first two competitions here in Switzerland. Ending with a season’s best and 2 hundredths off my personal best in the 100m today was a great finish off. Now we have 5 and a half weeks to hunker down in training before World Championships.”
