Scotland Helps Newport Cricket Club Win
Marcus Scotland and his Newport Cricket Club teammates picked up a 23 run victory against St Fagans Cricket Club in the UK.
Batting first Newport scored 264/6 in their allotted 50 overs, Callum Taylor was the top scorer with 79, Scotland batting down the order would score 20 not out off 16 balls, hitting 2 fours. Andrew Gorvin was the pick of the St. Fagans bowlers with figures of 10-2-43-2.
In reply St. Fagans were bowled out for 241, Jeremy Lawlor was the top scorer with 85, Hasnain Nawaz was the pick of the Newport bowlers returning figures of 10-2-56-4.
