Google To Present At Bermuda Tech Summit

Technology company Google will present at the Bermuda Tech Summit on October 10th detailing its new submarine cable which will be connected to Bermuda.

David Robles, Global Subsea Construction Lead, Google, and Steven Rees Davies, Partner, Carey Olsen will open the final day of the Bermuda Tech Summit to discuss ‘Nuvem,’ Portuguese for cloud, a new transatlantic subsea cable system connecting Portugal, Bermuda, and the United States.

Mr Robles said, “Bermuda is fast emerging as a hub for international connectivity, embracing the longterm economic opportunities that subsea cable infrastructure can bring. I look forward to the dialogue with Bermudian tech experts about the Nuvem cable, and how the project represents a long-term partnership and investment in Bermuda’s digital future.
