St. George’s Parish Council Award Scholarships
Kezia Bean, Zyon Minors, Alaysia Swan, and Teressa Woolridge have been awarded a total of $15,000 in scholarships by the St. George’s Parish Council.
The Council said, “In keeping with the Scholarship Committee’s objective of providing funding to assist students reach their career goals, the St. George’s Parish Council presented scholarship awards to four deserving students who are studying in a variety of disciplines. The Scholarship Chairperson said two students received $5,000 and two students received $2,500 towards their education expenses.
“The Committee was very impressed with the students all are studying to work in the Health Care profession. The entire Council would like to extend congratulations to the 2023 recipients and wish them much success.”
