Videos: Jessica Lewis Wins Parapan Gold Medal
[Updated with videos] Jessica Lewis has just claimed a very impressive victory in the 100-meter race at the Parapan Games in Chile today [Nov 25], winning the gold medal in dominant style, setting a new Parapan record.

Lewis, who entered the race as the defending gold medalist and Parapan record holder, delivered her third consecutive gold medal win, having won gold in Toronto in 2015 and Lima in 2019, setting Parapan Am Games records on every single occasion.
The Bermudian sprinter finished well ahead of the field in a record setting time of 16.71, Chelsea Qing Stein from the USA won silver in a time of 18.55, while Lucero Anahi Vazquez from Mexico won the bronze in a time of 18.61.
This marks Bermuda’s second medal of these Games, as Yushae DeSilva-Andrade won a silver medal in boccia earlier this week.
