Quaker Oats Company Issues New Recall Notice

The Ministry of Health said they are “aware that the Quaker Oats Company is expanding their recall from December 2023 to include two additional types of cereals;

• Quaker Oatmeal Squares Cinnamon 14.5 oz 030000061534 Jan-11-24 and Oct-1-24
• Quaker Oatmeal Squares Brown Sugar 14.5 oz 030000064412 Jan-11-24 and Oct-1-24

A spokesperson said, “To date, Quaker has not received reports of illnesses related to the products covered by this market withdrawal. The authorized local distributor, Dunkley & Pioneer Dairies Ltd, is removing the product from local stores, and consumers are advised to discard any of the listed products or return the affected items to the original store of purchase, accompanied by the purchase receipt.
