Sharrieff & Morris Compete For Howard Teams
Two Bermudian athletes were in action for Howard University recently, with swimmer Myeisha Sharrieff and runner Sanaa Morris taking part in sports meets.
Myeisha Sharrieff and her Howard University women’s swimming and diving teammates secured a decisive victory against the Catholic Cardinals with a final score of 181-56.
Sharrieff set the pace by leading off the Howard women’s 400 yard medley relay B team, which claimed a second-place finish, clocking in at 4:08.32, and she also swam the third leg of the Howard women’s 400 yard freestyle relay C team, helping the squad secure another second-place finish with a time of 3:42.16.
Individually, Sharrieff competed in the women’s 50 yard freestyle, clinching a second-place finish with a time of 25.40
Sanaa Morris and her Howard University women’s track & field teammates cruised to victory in the 2024 Robert Comstock Cardinal Classic, hosted by Catholic University.
Morris finished 4th in the women’s 200m clocking a time of 26.18, and she also ran the first leg for the Howard women’s 4 x 400 relay section 1 B team that finished second clocking a time of 4:01.72.
