Caitlyn Bobb Breaks 500M School Record
Caitlyn Bobb shattered her school’s 500m record at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational at the Liberty University Indoor Track Complex.
She competes for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and their report said, “Junior Caitlyn Bobb produced the meet’s biggest highlight as she broke the school record in the 500 meters. Bobb’s mark of 1:12.23 was the best by a collegiate runner [second overall] in Lynchburg and broke Paulette Fogle’s time of 1:12.78 in 2015.”
Keturah Bulford-Trott and Za’Kayza Parsons were also in action, with Bulford-Trott finishing 48th in the women’s 60 meter dash preliminaries clocking 8.12, while Parsons finished 18th in the long jump with a top leap of 5.34m and 28th in the 200 meter dash open finals in a personal best time of 25.61.
