Kenny Leseur & Butler Win Big East Match Play
Kenny Leseur and his Butler men’s golf teammates closed out a successful showing at the Big East Match Play with another win as they topped DePaul 5-2.
The match play event took place at the Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, which was set up at 7,042 yards. It brought together eight of the Big East’s men’s golf programs in a unique format to begin the spring portion of the schedule.
Butler posted a 2-1 team mark over their three matches in the event.
In the victory over DePaul, Butler got wins from Jack Wilcox, Leseur, Henry Quinn, Daniel Tanaka, and Will Horne.
Leseur finished one up on Billy Gneiser, playing in the number two spot.
