Rick Wright’s Greenville Remain Unbeaten
Bermudian Rick Wright’s Greenville Triumph are unbeaten after three games this season after a goalless draw at home to Forward Madison in the USL League One yesterday [March 23].
Wright won his first match when Greenville defeated Spokane Velocity 3-1 at home in the league before beating South Carolina United 1-0 away in the US Open Cup first round.
Wright succeeded former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder John Harkes as head coach after serving as assistant coach since 2019.
A former Saltus Grammar School student, Wright made appearances for the Bermuda and United States national teams.
Greenville’s next league match is away to Lexington SC on Friday [March 29].
