UMBC Trio Win Medals At Towson Opener

Za’Kayza Parsons, Keturah Bulford-Trott, and Caitlyn Bobb all represented UMBC women’s track and field at the Towson Opener.

The UMBC 4×400 meter squad brought gold back to Hilltop Circle, as the quartet of Genelle Stephens, Bobb, Leanne McDonald, and Shanel Sibblies defeated second place Towson by over 10 seconds with a mark of 3:50.08.

Bobb ran to victory in the 800m race clocking a time of 2:18.01, Bulford-Trott finished third earning a bronze medal in the 100 meter hurdles clocking 15.15 and Parsons leaped to a silver medal placing with a leap of 5.36m.
