Mallory Helps UNC Wilmington Defeat Delaware
Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington men’s tennis teammates rolled past 48th ranked Delaware 4-1 at the UNCW Tennis Complex.
UNC Wilmington, who are ranked 71st entering the week, upped their record to 9-5 overall and 6-1 at home.
Mallory gave UNC Wilmington a 2 – 1 lead at the fifth singles spot; he sailed past Delaware’s Ismail Saadi 6-4, 6-1.
Mallory teamed up with Gabe Hurtado in the number two doubles spot, but they fell 6-4 to Tobey Lock and Euan Mackenzie.
