Her Excellency, The Governor, after consultation with the
President of the Court of Appeal, has approved the appointment of
Mrs. Shade Subair-Williams, Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court, to act as Justice of Appeal in accordance with section 79[2] of the Bermuda Constitution for the following matters:
Denise Trew v HSBC Bermuda and Dennis Dwyer
Denise Trew v Molly White and Stephen White
for the period 5th June 2024 until these matters are complete.

Notices of Hearing-Liquor Licensing Authority Special Session
The Chairman of the Liquor Licensing Authority, in compliance with the requirement of Section 7 of the Liquor Licence Act 1974 gives the following notice:
A Special Session of The Liquor Licensing Authority will be held on the 20th day of June, 2024, via video link, at 12.30 p.m. to hear the application for the transfer / renewal of the following annual licences, to include all annual license applications of whichever class received after the 14th March deadline:

Those applicants whose applications are being dealt with in a special session will be called separately, and do not appear in this Notice.
Any person ordinarily resident in the Parish or any owner or occupier of any property in any other Parish lying within three hundred yards of the premises in respect of which this application is made may object to the grant of the license provided written notice containing, in general terms, the grounds of the objection is served on The Chairman of The Liquor Licensing Authority, The Commissioner of Police and The Applicant not less than three days before the hearing. Finally, if you are called to a hearing the Clerk will contact you.
