Power Boat Season Launches At Ferry Reach
The 2024 Bermuda Power Boat Association’s race season got underway at Ferry Reach for the first race of the season.
The Devil’s Isles racing team showed up strong with a fleet of 4 boats to compete. In race 1, Andrew Cottingham and Henry Talbot compete in S22 to start the season off and take top points towards the season championship title, and in race 2 they hopped over into D22 to take top points towards the D class national championship title.
The day also saw the return of a powerboat racing veteran Chris Marshall who was running A3. Marshall, who is a three-time power boat racing world champion took top points for A class in the first national championship series race of the season with his co-pilot Kenneth Matthie.
