Video: Sunday May 26th “Good News” Spotlight
News that Bermuda Day wads celebrated, The Bermuda Alumnae Chapter [BAC] of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated held its first Delta Days event at the House of Assembly, Nic Narraway won a silver medal at the Pan American Road Cycling Championships in Brazil and the Department of Education hosted a prize-giving ceremony for 12 deserving young artists who participated in the 59th Annual Schools Art Exhibition were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news Bermudian Dr. Ty-Ron Douglas has been recognized as one of the NCAA Champions of Diversity and Inclusion for 2024, Tyler Christopher delivered a disciplined and measured display to defeat Cameroonian Serge Ambomo on points at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport, Adrian Roach paid a visit to Francis Patton Primary School to deliver an inspirational talk to students and Adam Hall and his Winnipeg Goldeyes secured their first series win of the season with a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Dogs at Blue Cross Park.
